Come share with me

When I decided to launch my blog, with the encouragement of a dear friend, I was excited that I could finally 'publish' my thoughts - observations and memories of life experiences. My intention for creating this space was to give fellow travellers, on the road of life, a place where they can take off their shoes, unload their burdens and share their experiences with me.

While I am happy to welcome comments that are funny, friendly, encouraging and motivating along with heartfelt sharings; I would, however, prefer to stay away from politically-driven remarks. Observations of life is one thing but spinning a well-meant comment into an attack of sorts is another. I will not accept that. Period.

I was compelled to delete many comments from my last posting because I could not find those comments relevant to the title.

Maybe some people misunderstood what I was trying to express.

I will leave you with these words:

"Three keys to more abundant living: caring about others, daring for others, sharing with others.” - William Arthur Ward

Wow, you really zapped quite a number of commenters. Anyway hereis my two cents.....sometimes people rant becaose they want somebody to listen...more often than not, people do change when we offer our ears and when we ENGAGE them. But of course being the owner of the blog it is your right to delete. You would be the best judge of that. There is a lot of hatred floating around but there is also a lot of love in the air to be shared. I delete when racial slurs are intended

Zorro, your opinion is worth more than two-cents! ... a beer?
Those comments were filled with hatred including racial slurs. I had to bring out my e-chainsaw and e-bin.
I would not have deleted them if I thought they were worth publishing. I found it odd that the comments were so racially and politically driven when my poem was clearly based on something else.hmmm...

Nuraina, thanks for dropping by and 'checking me out'. Next time do come in for a chat.
