Tagged - Favourite Links
I was tagged by Mat Bangkai more than a month ago. Now that I have found some time to blog again, I decided to tackle this first before sharing more on my recent holiday activities.
The Linking Tag Rules
List out five favourite links - the links can be of business sites, affiliate links or whatever that suits the blogger.
Tag five more people to share their links, so hopefully, at the end of the tag, we would be able to share good links with each other.
The links MUST be clean. No X-rated sites.
List out only FIVE links.
You MUST tell the FIVE people you chose.
Provide the link back to the person who tagged you.
Obviously, it should be an active link.
I have several favourite websites and wish to list most of them (and not only FIVE links) ... sometimes I am not too keen on rules. :) And speaking of rules, I am not going to tag anyone else. Some people do not enjoy doing tags (as I have learned since I started blogging). So I am not going to impose. Feel free to pick this up, if you wish to do it.
1. Facebook - a great way to keep in touch with family and friends. Enjoy looking at photos and knowing what everyone is up to.
2. Malaysia Today - my news source about Malaysia.
3. Weather.com - gives me information on weather. That way I can plan lots of my activities around the weather and temperature. For example, choosing a good day to do some garden work. I do not wish to suffer a sunstroke while mowing my lawn or, God-forbid, struck by lightning.
4. Dictionary.com - need it because I am not a walking dictionary.
5. Reciva Radio - a good place to listen to radio stations from around the world.
6. wwiTV - a place to check out TV stations from around the world. RTM 1 and 2 used to be there but was removed almost a year ago. sigh ... It was nice to catch local TV when I wanted to get the feel of 'home'.
7. WalMart - A place where I can save money and live better. :P
seriously ....
8. Amazon.com - Love to shop there, when I can. Books, apparel, electronics, etc.
9. Tiger Direct - Good deals offered for computers and electronics. Love to browse this site even when I am not looking to buy something.
10. Victoria's Secret - need I say more? :)

jt,
Thanks for sharing. We have a couuple of common favourite links.
Yeah..same interest in the top two..:)
jt, cant help noticing that you go to rtm1 and 2. What you can do is go to www.rtm.net.my and then click tv and then click tv streaming. sign in and you will get the news as it happens. I do that cos I get to check my stories.
Hey Jacqui,
Visitor left so soon? So much fun reuniting with friends.
I'll try the radio site you mentioned. Because I follow the stock market, most of the sites I visit regularly are to do with stocks. Blogs run a close second. Of late, I seem to want to read and write lots again. Waiting to hear more about your holiday.
Hi JT, glad to note you have returned. Love that very elegant pose of yours in profile. You sure look like ahemm, like Royalty, maybe Monaco, or Argentina? And very pretty too I must add, ahemm.
Being a portrait photographer, I call that a 'Royalty pose', as seen done by those guys up at Buckingham palace do often, ha ha. But of course prefer more the Jacqueline Onassis pose....on board the yacht, Christina. Ha ha.
Hey, I too use 'dictionary.com'...as I may know the word, but spelling at a senior citizen's age can be a bit of headscratching.
I bet you had a real 'yeeeehaaaa, ride them out, roll them out, keep them doggies rolling' at your balek kampong recently.
But I think your long awaited meeting a lady that I too hope to meet one day, more than Salma Hayek...Ruby Ahmad must be one of your main highlights, huh? Bet you both had some good laughs.
Pssst, tell me, how it felt seeing, meeting RA that first 10 seconds? Was it in the style of 'Ruby Ahmad, I presume'? Ha ha.
Stay loose and easy, JT, Lee.
Hi Zawi
I wonder which one are our favourites. :)
Hi Nightwing
Facebook and Malaysia Today. Great sites aren't they? :)
Hello Kak Teh
Thank you so much for the link. Now I can finally watch RTM again. :)
I am glad I did this tag. If not, I would have never known about this. Thanks once again.
Hey Rashi
Glad to know that you will check out that radio link.
When I have free time (lately, not so much), I usually go back to some German channels just to listen to the language. Apart from trying to keep up with it (know enough not to die of starvation.. haha), listening to the stations brings back memories of my years in that country. Miss those days.
Other than that, I usually look for 80s music or oldies (40s, 50s, 60s).
Take care, Rashi. See you in Facebook.
Hi Lee
You flatter me ... and I thank you for that. :)
You know, my mum too always had a dictionary by her side when she used to correspond with friends and relatives. She said that as she got older, she tended to forget spellings. I never could understand it. Now, you say the same thing. hmmm... Will I go through the same thing someday? I am beginning to forget account numbers, phone numbers, etc. oh my... :)
Ruby Ahmad was every bit of the woman I imagined - beautiful, classy, dynamic, friendly and well-spoken. It was not hard to spot her in the crowd at KLCC. Although our time was very short (I had family dinner that evening) and had only 45 minutes to chat, it was good. We had quality conversation. We laughed quite a bit. :) Wish I had more time. Maybe next time when I go home.
Thanks for dropping by, Lee. Take care.
wah..now i know where you get yr supply of undergarments...hehe
Hi KC
LOL... darn! Now anyone who reads this will know. :P
Hi JT, ya I can imagine when balek kampong, time is of the essence. Thats the reason we've not gone back since 2002.
Its funny as we go fro a Brandy to an XO, our memory looses a few nuts and bolts along the way and thus I have sticky note paper everywhere, kitchen, next to my Apple, in my Lincoln etc...the moment I think of something, I note it down or else ten minutes, it'll be headscratching what it was.
But your name no problemos, ha ha.
Wow! RA is something, huh? I look forward to meeting her one of these days, in the style of, "Bond.......James Bond", arhaaa ha ha.
See ya, Lee.
