Tagged - What Do You Think About Me?

I was tagged by Nightwing of Carpe Diem. (Nightwing, hope you don't mind my "borrowing" your profile picture).

It seemed fun when I read it in his blog but now I am feeling a little shy. Why? The five people whom I am going to tag will have to talk about me. On second thought, it will be good to know what they think of me. So here goes ....

A) LIST OUT THE TOP 5 PRESENTS YOU WISH FOR :
1. Love
2. Happiness
3. Health
4. Security
5. Retirement money!

B) THE PERSON WHO TAGGED ME IS: Nightwing

C) YOUR 5 IMPRESSIONS OF HIM:
1. Kind
2. Friendly
3. Loves to Sing (and good at it)
4. Honest
5. Sensible

D) MOST MEMORABLE THINGS HE HAS GIVEN/DONE FOR YOU:
Being a regular supporter/reader of my blog. :)

E) THE MOST MEMORABLE WORDS HE SAID TO YOU:
When he shared his take on each one of us having a purpose in life in my previous post - Takeaways of 2007.

F) IF HE BECOMES YOUR LOVER, YOU WILL:
... be slaughtered by his girlfriend.

G) IF HE BECOMES YOUR ENEMY, THE REASON WILL BE:
... that he crossed some boundaries with me. Frankly, I don't see that happening because of my impressions of him (as above).

H) PASS THE QUIZ TO 5 PEOPLE THAT YOU WISH TO KNOW HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT YOU:

(Oh dear! this is where I hope the persons I tag will be good sports. One reminder from previous post - Simple Life Lessons ... "If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.") :D

No. 1. Ruby Ahmad
No. 2. Rashikaps
No. 3. Daphne Ling
No. 4. Lady Patsy
No. 5. MsJ

1. WHO IS No.3 (Daphne Ling) HAVING RELATIONSHIP WITH?
As far as I know, she is not in a relationship. If she is, I would love to know! (so that this aunty kaypoh will not try to fix her up with someone else).

2. WHO IS No.5 (MsJ) HAVING RELATIONSHIP WITH?
Her husband, MrJ. She also enjoys a wonderful mother-son relationship with her gorgeous little boy, BabyJ.

3. IF No.3 (Daphne Ling) AND No.2 (Rashikaps) ARE TOGETHER, WILL IT BE A GOOD THING?
I believe so. Aquarians tend to get along well with each other.

4. WHAT ABOUT No.4 (Lady Patsy) AND No.5 (MsJ)?
I guess it will be good too. I know MsJ is very friendly. However, Lady Patsy might need me to "hold her hands" for the first meeting (hahaha). Lady Patsy is a reserved person (which some people unfairly mistake it for being snooty). Once someone gets to know Lady Patsy, that person may never leave her chambers! :D

5. WHAT IS No.3 (Daphne Ling) STUDYING?
I believe she is doing some pre-uni course in preparation for her psychology degree in Canada.

6. WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU CHATTED WITH No.5 (MsJ)?
Some weeks ago, on the phone.

7. DOES NO.4 (Lady Patsy) WORK?
Yes ... but don't ask me where. I forgot.

8. DO YOU HAVE ANY COUSINS IN HER SCHOOL?
What school? Patsy left formal schooling many moons ago. However, if this refers to the school of hard knocks, then yes. Not only are my cousins there, I am too. (I believe many of us haven't really graduated from this school. Education never ends).

9. WILL YOU BE WITH No.1 (Ruby Ahmad)?
Yes, if I ever get back to Malaysia for a holiday. I would love for us to finally meet. We did mention KLCC as the ideal spot. Now to choose location within KLCC. (Must make sure it is a place where we can people-watch). ;)

10. HOW ABOUT No.5 (MsJ) ?
Yes, if I ever get to Colorado! I envision us having a bitchin' session. :D

11. DOES No.2 (Rashikaps) HAVE ANY SIBLINGS?
She has mentioned a younger sister.

12. HOW DID YOU GET TO KNOW ABOUT No.2 (Rashikaps) AND No.4 (Lady Patsy)?
I met Rashi through blogging (and found we have quite a lot in common).
I met Patsy in 1990 when we were brought together to present a single's weekend (for the church) in K.L. (I have not been able to leave her chambers since then. She has me bound!)

13. WHERE DOES No.1 (Ruby Ahmad) LIVE?
err.... Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is so worldly, it is anyone's guess. :)

14. HOW DID YOU GET TO KNOW No.3 (Daphne Ling)?
When she interviewed me for her write-up on blogs in "The Star". (Thanks Daphne!)

15. IS No.5 (MsJ) THE SEXIEST PERSON IN THE WORLD?
She is va-va-voom! I am certain MrJ thinks so too.

Hi Nightwing

Thanks! :)

I hope it is entertaining enough. Otherwise, this will just have to do until I get an idea on what to blog next. ;D

Take care, my friend.

Hi Dawn

Yes, that's me. It was taken some years back. Thanks for the flattering compliment. *blushing*

I guess you better get started on that tag. Time waits for no one. ;)

Have a good week.

Hi JT, HOLY SMOKE! This new profile pic of yours is sensational!
JT, You look like a million bucks!
Wow, only lunch at Tiffany's and dinner at the Waldorf Astoria will do justice to your magnetic, mystifying kind of beauty! And those eyes of yours? (reminds me of that song, 'your eyes are the eyes of a woman in love...')
Hope I don't become a blabaring, weak kneed, look at my shoes, someone from the boondocks with finger in mouth kind when we meet.
JT, we may not have klinked a Dom Perignon Cuvee' or a Vodka Martini, shaken and not stirred of course, or danced the Tango, La Cumparsita, but admiring your this portrait pic, I see real beauty.
And the essence of all beauty, I call love, the attribute, the evidence, and end, the consumation to the inward sense of beauty apprehended from without, I still call love.
Where were you when I was on the ahemm, prowl? Ha ha.
Ahhh, when I see beauty, I forget what I was supposed to say. Ahhh yes, your tag here.
You're cute with your as usual cheeky replies.
JT, you're my kind of woman.
If my 3 florists were to see your picture, and see my name here, I can tell you three of them will be knocking on my door asking me to please un-retire my self, ha ha.
JT, before I forget my wife's name, you have a nice day, and stay beautiful! Oh gosh! Those dark eyes of yours.....? Lee.
ps, hope my sleeping pills can still be used. Ha ha.

Hi Lee

Adui! I am so flattered by your compliments. :) (can *pengsan, wake up and *pengsan again!)
Where are my smelling salts?? hee hee
Thank you very much. Appreciate it a lot. ;)

I believe when you were on the prowl, I was still playing with my dolls at home. :D

As for your florists, you must have had a running tab with them. I won't be surprised if they have houses in the Hamptons just from profits they made selling flowers to you. ;D

Thanks for dropping by, Lee. You always have ways to brighten up my day. :)

Hi JT, just had my dinner and come admire your pic again, *wink*.
Thanks for your reply, ha ha. It's a pleasure, JT, mine!
You know, there was one lady florist I frequented, so much so, she quite a cheeky woman, would after one year knew or suspect the bouquet of flowers, either orchids or roses, reds or yellows would mean a new date, or I was ahemm, going in for gran finale, or saying hasta la vista. Ha ha.
She would shake her head, or raise an eyebrow cheekily if she gets my call twice in a week, to deliver to two different ahemm, locations, ha ha.
I had a florist up in Cameron Highlands too,...'Rose Garden' I think it was called, they grew their own flowers, especially roses.
There was this red rose, I forgot the name, but it's scent was really beautiful. Can get the scent five feet away.
I get them to have it delivered to where I want...
It sure scored points in my favour when I have two dozen of these scented roses delivered to my present flame....at her office with a 'thank you for a lovely evening, L'.
Ahhh, the good old days.
Ha ha, you playing with dolls while I was chasing after real dolls.
Bet you had your fair share of roses and orchids too, huh?
Have a nice evening, JT, goodnight from Canada. Lee.

Hello David

Thank you. So nice to see you here again.

... and what a surprise! You wrote in Bahasa Malaysia. wow... I am impressed.

On a serious note, thank you for the heads up on the Nurin Jazlin world wide campaign set for 25th April.

Keep up the great work, David.

Cheers!

Hi K.C.

Alamak! Sheena Easton ... goodness, that's quite a compliment. :) Thank you.
I loved her in the 80s. In fact, I still have a song or two of Sheena's in my collection. Boy! she could hit those high notes.

Me singing? I guess I can hold some notes but I am definitely not the talent Simon Cowell would enjoy. :D
I have seen his favourites and they are exceptional.

However, if William Hung can cut a record (hahaha ... remember his song? She Bangs?), I think I have a chance too, I will let you know. ;)

Cheers!

J.T. said...

Oh my ... now I am on cloud nine with your compliments. ;)

You were quite a "buaya" - let me correct that ... a gentleman buaya, in your day, huh? Even the florist knew your moves (with regards to flowers) haha

Also, I think not only were you chasing after real dolls, you were playing with them too. hahaha (sorry, I could not help that. I was dying to say it). :D

As for my receiving flowers, actually it was very rare but memorable. :)

Thanks for dropping by again. Have a good evening.

J.T. said...

Hi Farina

Thanks for the recommendation. I will keep Chinos in mind.

As for that bitching session with MsJ, sounds like a good idea, doesn't it? (Hopefully MsJ is up to receiving visitors). :)

Hey, this is a well done tag! No wonder Nightwing asked me to check out yours, since I seemed to be stuck with mine! :-)

Can copy your style, or not?

J.T. said...

Hi MsJ

Thanks for the invitation. We will take you up on that offer. This bored housewife is in serious need of a good girlfriends session. Bring out the "kueh" and the "teh". :)

Diapers? I don't mind. I just have to make sure I don't get squirted by BabyJ. hahaha

J.T. said...

Hi Puteri

Thank you, my dear. Be my guest and copy. No problemo.

Looking forward to reading your tag. :)

Rita Ho said...

Salute! Jacqui ... not only do the James Bond ladies need to step aside on the catwalk, they should learn your "tag" lines as well! I am tempted to re-tag you on this. Haha!

J.T. said...

Hi Rita

oh dear.. a re-tag. hmm.. sounds interesting. Maybe I will give a different twist to it on second attempt (no guarantee on entertainment satisfaction, though. hehehe) Are you sure? ;)

Angel Eyes said...

KLCC? Sounds good.. can i follow you guys? hehe

J.T. said...

Hello Ricardo Sérgio of Faça a Diferença,

Welcome to my blog. Thank you for your lovely compliments. I appreciate it very much.

Cheers!

J.T. said...

Hi Angel Eyes

Sure, why not? I would love to meet you too. The more, the merrier. :)

I hope I am not being too presumptious here but I am sure Ruby will not mind. (will you, Ruby?)

Lady Patsy said...

Can she sing? Yes, people JT can sing and she sure makes heads turn with her vocal prowess. There was this one time when we are at a karaoke and she sang this lovely song "Where the Boys are" and all the noisy china men stopped to listen and clapped really loud when she was done! Talk about modesty ah?
Anyways thanks for the tag (I think) and will try and get it done okay :)

J.T. said...

Hi Patsy

Trust you to "pecah tembelang"! :D
You know why those guys clapped? They were pissed drunk! hahaha

Seriously, I have not 'warmed' up my voice in a long time. That is why I did not want to claim that I can sing. :)

That was a good song, wasn't it? I am touched you remembered that. I thought you were drunk as well (drunk in love with your beau, that is!). :)

Salt N Turmeric said...

walawei. now the secret is out. SHE can sing too. ehem. it's gonna make our bitching session at msj's place sounds even better (i can learn diaper changing). hehe. i dont sing but im a good listener. ;)

Daphne Ling said...

Hey Jacqui,

Firstly, apologies for taking so long to come here...Internet has been down, down, down!

I am sorry, but I am going to turn this tag down...But I wanted to say thanks for the nice things you said about me...

Btw, I am not studying a pre-uni course for my Psychology degree...Am already in my second year of Psyc (Hehe!) as my degree is a twinning programme (2 years here, 2 years Canada)...

Anyway, no need this tag for you to know what I think of you...I think enuf has been said, huh?

*Hugs*

J.T. said...

Hi Farina

haha ... When the session gets going, singer or not, you won't be able to help yourself. I am willing to bet one diaper change. ;)

J.T. said...

Hey Daphne,

I was wondering the silence on your part since I have not heard from you via email or blog. It is terrible, isn't it, when internet is down?
I feel lost when I don't get my daily fix of the Net.

Apologies for making a mistake in my answer about your studies. I blame it on old age. :P

Take care and hope all is well on your side. *hugs*

Hi Sarinah

Oh my ... thanks for the lovely compliment. I never thought of that picture being glamorous. Uncle Lee encouraged me to put it in my blog. :)

Take care.

Hello Ruby

Take your time on the tag, Ruby. Not a problem. I consider tags as fillers - when I really do not know what to blog about.

Looking forward to meeting you someday ... soon. ;)
